Dave
Maybe start investing in some more club terrain buddy, as it is not really right to be asked to bring terrain to one dayers, even big 2 dayers now have their own...

Nothing I hate more than lugging a bag of terrain around for it to get damaged and or nicked (has happened to me many times)..

Use a % of each ticket sale to buy some more terrain, it's what we have done over the last few events...

The club has a fair bit of terrain as it is, and we are buying some more terrain hopefully this week. We've had to lay out for some new boards and the paint to cover them though, so IMPfest III is probably going to make a slight loss for the club, but we get a bit more terrain and some more boards to play with by running the event.

Basically we are asking people to bring terrain if they can, not requiring it. We have got enough to get by on I think, as several people coming by car have said they'll bring a board or two's worth. I 'll probably put together some of the GW terrain that I've got this week. After all I need four pieces for the SCGT don't I?

At night he prances about like some sort of bearded West Country metalhead pixie, planting pink horrors in peoples' army cases and cackling while chanting his mantra, 'it's double sixes my love, take them off, just take them all off'

Yup, I was out down the allotment doing some digging when the email arrived. I have yet to figure out what 3's outgoing email server is, so can receive emails out and about, but only send at home...

Updated player list and a quick reminder that if you can bring terrain then please do so. Expanding to thirty players from the original planned twenty is obviously going to stretch the club's terrain collection a bit too far.

As a little incentive I will include an award for best terrain piece. If I can get some gold spray paint it may even take the form of a trophy of sorts...

Here's the first round draw for Sunday. If there are any clubmates that are looking to swap then please let me know via email. I will try to revise the pairings by Saturday night taking this into account if I can.

Is Leggy actually playing Dave as he does not seem to have paid or entered a list?
