Glad to hear you can make it Ol, and with the O&G's being so close I'm being really loose on modelling, never mind painting....


As to a bar. No bar I'm afraid, but there is an off License literally just around the corner, you'll be walking past it on the arduous two minute walk from West Finchley Underground Station. There also happens to be a rather good Chinese takeaway in the same little parade of shops, I'm not sure if they're open for lunch though, I'll find out, or might just organise a McDonalds drive-through run...

Oh and there is a 'bring your own' alcohol policy, we'll probably be running a tuc shop of some kind for chocolate and crisps, cups of tea, etc... though. Just try not to spill anything I guess...

I was bottom first one (TK) and nearly won the 2nd won (Nurgle) so should be aiming for middle table obscurity for this one..

Dave , Can I make a request, no VC opponents please?  As Dan has amazingly done nothing to comp them (cause it takes so much skill to rolls 2's  ) And I would rather eat vomit than play against them again, twice in a row at Sheffield...

A cup of tea is easy. We've got a kitchen and a club kettle, tea bags and so on. We do need to invest in some mugs though....

There's also a fridge if you want to bring some bottles or cans we can keep them cold until you want them....


There's even a handy fire exit so that you only need go out one set of doors to punish your lungs.

If you think they'e going to be 'the Bee's Knees' at the SCGT, then surely you need to get as much practice against them as possible then? I don't think we have any VC players at the IMPs actually, so I know that none of our lot will offend your senses in that way.

I might allow you to grudge a non-VC opponent for the first round though....


Talking of which, a lot of the IMPs players a nice fluffy bunnies, including the guy I've lined up to run IMPfest IV (on the 10th of April, there's your advance notice for some last minute practice). Please be nice to them, as I'd like to encourage an interest in events amongst our members whether they want to be competitive or not...
