In the finest tradition of people on TWF, the comp sucked, the weekend was rubbish and I don't see how anyone could have had a fun game at it.,,  Obviously I didn't attend.  :wink;m::

Sounds like a fun weekend, good to hear the waargh continues to go from strength to strength.

Twas all good fun (even though I brought 2000 pts to a 2400pt tourney!)

I assume Ol's laptop has been well and truly kidnapped, still no final standings for the 2 days?

Great tournament, well done guys. Just a quick shout out to my opponents:

Game 1 vs Rob (Dwarves) - big blocks of dwarves and 2 organ guns looked scary. I was very lucky that the runelord's unit panicked off the table early on. Saurus with light magic did the business. Cheers for a great game.

Game 2 vs David (HEs) - I was very amused by the congo line of 5 white lions that spent the first few turns prancing around behind your lines! Game came down to 2 exciting grinds: spearmen vs skrox and dragon princes vs saurus. A bit of magic and Mr Scar Vet just swung them in my favour. If you had've got Mind Razor off I would have been screwed!

Game 3 vs James (Brets) - Quite cagey and close until the very end, neither of us wanted to commit while the other had all their magic buffs in play. I was helped by the saurus cav being generally awesome and the bret lord struggling to kill salamanders! Eventually got everything in towards the last turn which made for a great climax, fun tactical game.

Happy to come 1st for the day (even though I didn't quite manage to rack up enough VPs to match the brutal smashings that must have occured on the saturday!)

Quick question. Did anybody find a bag of clothings after this tournament? Or indeed on a the monday club night. Dave Napier thinks is pretty sure he left it there (the idiot). If anyone can check next time they are down or thought they saw it can they let me know.

Thanks.
