i've actually played around with the dark elf list.....i've dropped the shooting to pick up more corsairs. i decided i wanted to just push stuff at people with warriors so i shall do the same thing with DE, bugger the run around and shoot people idea.

You've probably guessed wrong mate, the majority of the stuff in the list i've either never taken in 8th edition or never taken to a tournament full stop.

It's an army designed to be easy to play after a few pints :)

He speaks the truth, its very different from any normal 8th Ed HE list....Good man Ed!

Really looking forward to this, the great advantage is that I get the only annoying opponent out of the way in the first game, it is easy street to the bottom table after that!!
