Here in lies the problem....

Thats an average of 10 shots... but its a one hit wonder...

so on average it give you 10 hits for a game, averaging 1.6 hits per game turn.

considering it can be more (or less i concede) shots and you do get the advantage of 'firepower concentration' on a better bsb model than the equivelent number of shots on archers etc, you can get the shots off early in the game leading to greater knockon effects that casualties etc cause on the game, plus you can't shoot into combat which is more likely the longer the game goes on.

maybe a token 5 shots taking all that into consideration?
