I know there are mixed feelings about this event but either way it is a tough tourney so well done to all involved. Below is the final standings of the masters, thanks to Rankings HQ.
Final Standings:

1st Richard Laking (Dark Elves)
2nd Will Goodwin (Vampire Counts)
3rd Dan Heelan (Lizardmen)
4th Adam Hall (Daemons of Chaos)
5th Michael Biggs (Warriors of Chaos)
6th Russ Veal (Vampire Counts)
7th Isaac Alexander (Vampire Counts)
8th Nick Pym (Daemons of Chaos)
9th Ben Curry (Dark Elves)
10th Keith Wilkinson (Vampire Counts)
11th Andrew Isherwood (Warriors of Chaos)
12th Chris Legg (Skaven)
13th Mark Wildman (Empire)
14th Singe Frost (Beastmen)
15th Ben Johnson (Skaven)
16th Martyn Furnival (Daemons of Chaos)

5 different armies in the top 5 is a good sign, shame it  is the predictable 5 armies. I am almost more interested in seeing the beastman list and finding out why Singe didn't finish last with it, good result that man!
Ogres 15-11-18
Dwarves 11-1-5
Space Marines 1-1-0

I played in the Open event at the weekend & saw quite a few of the Masters games, All the lists are on rankings HQ if you want to see them.

Singe basically had a Doombull, Level 4 & 3 level 1 with shadow + BSB -  a unit of Gors & four of each chariots plus some raiders & harpies.

Overall he was dissapointed that the dice massively let him down as he thought he should have won a few more. (I did see some catestrophic dice rolling followed by some amazing 5+ ward rolling against him in one fight). He scored 1 win, 1 draw & 4 losses.

From what i saw most of the Masters players really went for it (with the possible exception of Bobo who was clearly aiming at the 100 point win).

All in all a better event that I hoped as I only went along as i did not think I would get into Sheffield. (Took my Sheffield list to this for practice).

Not sure WoC in the top 5 was predictable though

And well done to Richard from Clapham! Think I must've inspired him, last time we played I slaughtered him, thanks mostly to Mindrazor, which sounds like was his biggest tool throughout the weekend (Though Hydra + 20 Shades are also quite useful :wink;m::).
