Me neither Steve, I can't write a Dark Elf list I'm happy with, so much I want to take but can't fit it all in.

I'm struggling with something...

the 90 shots a turn cap. 

Is that.  You can have 90 shots max in the list.

or

You can shoot up to 90 per turn... i.e could have 120 shots in the army but can only use 90?

Just struggling to see how a Treemans strangle roots fits in... as can be 0-10 shots.

A) Simply cant take more in the list

You're allowed 90 shots max in the army list, with Woodies I'm not sure how the hail of doom arrow works but I don't think that comes into the limit.
