South Coast GT - 16th/17th of April 2011

So people, as the title says the South Coast GT is back for its 3rd year. Rulespacks and tickets details will be announced in the future, this post is just to let you know the date for your diary.

Please please please do not message/email/phone/txt me asking me to reserve you a space! Last year we sold 160+ tickets in under 50 minutes so I cannot guarantee anyone a space - the announcement on ticket sale dates will be made well in advance so everybody has the opportunity to buy one!

The date for your diary:

April 16th / 17th - we will be open on the friday night also and any helping hands are always appreciated so I would book the friday off work as well!

Will at the usual venue, Barton Hall, Hordean Community College, Bartons Cross, Horndean, Waterlooville, Hampshire.

Everyone keep an eye out, as last year the tickets (160 of them) sold out in 50 mins..

Not sure it will go that quick this year as there are so many tickets on sale for so many tournaments (all of them 5+ months away) at the same time just before Xmas..

And actually that is what I am going to take this year, unless the TK come out in time...

in the past couple of years it's not been a total filth fight, but Dan et al have previously stated they want people to be able to take hard, but not silly armies.  As a result loads of folk absolutely maxed out to the comp so you got a harder field than you might get at a non comped event.

Don't think I'll be going this year, travel was a bit too much trouble when there is a local tourney run around the same time that I can attend.

booked a twin room at the premier inn (the right one) for the 15th/16th.

now just need to make sure i get a sodding ticket to the event!
