Is it allowed for a bret bsb to take mundane weapon like lance or shield. I didn't see it because it is no or I'm blind.

not by the army book, so unless they've changed something, No... Old Army book ftw!!
There is no problem in life that can't be solved with Heroic Killing Blow:
Plague Furnace, Abomination, Hydra, Wyvern, Arachnarok, Engine of the Gods, Zombie Dragon, Vargulf, Hellcannon. To be continued...

If we assume that there are infinite universes, then in at least one of them, I'm banging Emma Watson. Awesome!

Stomm

I'm thinking if bringing seven artillery pieces and a STank with me... ;)

Has anyone actually read the SCGT comp???

Apart from the points limit on units, the rare cap (for some) and the shooting / PD cap, there is no comp..

So Book of Hoeth, Puppet, Drakenhoff, Pendant, cupped hands, banner of world dragon, siren song, all in baby...

Filth fest awaits....

Why do you think I said in the other thread that the SCGT lists would be 10x as bad as the Tempest ones? :endit:

Well, two cannons, two mortars, two hellstorms, an engineer to keep them from blowing up too much and a hellblaster as point defence, IoW a 'skirmisher or FC evaporation device'.

The STank, Knights and fifty halberdiers are all there to push in the enemies face if needs be, ideally from turn three onwards.

Or I could stick with me 2:2 cannon:mortar mix, and take some FC and some more infantry, maybe flaggies, maybe greatswords, maybe with a capatus mixed in.

Basically I'm really happy with the 2k list that I took to ToS, I know how each component works and in my mind at least there is very little 'fat' in the list. Upping the points to 2400pts not only means that I need to paint more stuff, but deciding what to paint, IoW what to inlclude in the list is proving to be really hard indeed... Just bolting some more artillery onto the list is an easy and relatively quick way of adding points, and hopefully brown stains to my opponent's undergarments...

Incidentally a VHS equipped Capatus stikes me as a wonderfully effective way of taking out greater Daemons. Combine it with a couple of HLR's, and you can use him to pick off any rock hard characters out there, especially WoC ones...

And I'm not allowed two cannons. Empire filth

@ I meant your list is boring, efficient but boring. I used to play it.

Quite possibly, but two hellstorms, a hellblaster and an engineer are a lot quicker to paint than say fifty more infantry models...
