I feel like charlie sheen!

That's right. Charlie is on drugs, always drunk but I'm pretty sure he never break in a B&B.

Cheers, 60th, beat my 65th place last year, should be some good rankings points hopefully.

Same here, had a really good weekend, 6 great games, even the ones I lost were good fun, 6 good opponents, special note to Craig Namvar, Steve Follows and Marcus Lake (the DoC player going topless on the second day) for having a great laugh during the games even when it went wrong against two of them. Also to Andy Spiers who couldn't roll anything but misfire for his organ gun and allowing a three inch gap for my Master on Dark Steed to squeeze through to his war machines.

20-0 against Ogre Kingdoms
12-8 against Kipper led Daemons of Chaos
1-19 loss to more efficient Dark Elves
13-7 against Dwarfs
15-5 against Ogre Kingdoms
3-17 against Empire

Yup, I had a great weekend even though my Unseen Lerker dice decided to bitch slap me in the face... I also made a few silly mistakes that didn't help much.  :endit: The Bretts may go back to the drawing board a bit...

Anyway, the important detail is the Killing Blow record for my Lord

Game 1: Abomination
Game 2: Arachnarok and Wyvern Lord (BAM!)
Game 3: A single Maneater, and then died to 3 Ogres hitting him in face...
Game 4: High Elf Battle Standard Bearer
Game 5: Only a single Salamander
Game 6: About 6 Bulls from one unit, including three in one round :))

All in all, not to bad an effort for one man and his flying pony.
There is no problem in life that can't be solved with Heroic Killing Blow:
Plague Furnace, Abomination, Hydra, Wyvern, Arachnarok, Engine of the Gods, Zombie Dragon, Vargulf, Hellcannon. To be continued...

If we assume that there are infinite universes, then in at least one of them, I'm banging Emma Watson. Awesome!

Julien

My record is not that great.

game 1 black coach
game 2 warshrine and hellcannon
game 3 6 harpies (included 3 killing blows)
game 4 NOTHING Ben Diesel soiled me with his ward saves.
game 5 I wanted to charge the nurgle papa but get siren song before killed 5 daemomettes.
game 6 get charged by 6 black knights killing blow 3 and get killing blowed after nice

Thought you weren't chasing rankings this year Andy?

maelzch

my game results were:

1: vs Ian Ralph (Daemons)
I basically ignored the bloodthirster in this game, and it took Ian a few turns before commiting it, meanwhile Chuck and chums ate a big 'nette block and a massive bloodletter block with 2 heralds. However, once Billy got stuck in, Ian got a lot of points back. Managing to S11 Gateway a horror block off the board didn't help in the end, ended up with a 9-11 loss

2: Richard Cz (Dark Elves)
My chaff was all free points for Richard, as it all just got shot away. Some fortunate rallies in the last turn stopped the remainders of Rich's two main infatry blocks fleeing off of the board. Result was a 5-15 loss for me

3: Chris Tomlin (Beastmen)
This was the first time I'd properly met Chris from the Black Sun boys, despite chatting to him on various interwebz. Most of this game has slipped my mind due to the heavy boozing on the Saturday night! I remember it being a good fun game with lots of odd things happening, like Chuck almost chewing through a big block of Gors on his own. the game ended up as a high vps 5-15 loss for me (which led to a bit of ridicule, until Steve got beaten by this same Beastmen list on the Sunday!)

4: Nigel Povey (Goblins)
Nigel from Clapham had a fun and fluffy all gobbos list, with exactly the toys that my army is able to cope with, hounds to park on fanatics and manglers to get rid of them, then once my warriors get into the goblin blocks, it can only go one way! I ended up with a 16-4 win

5: Tom ? (Empire)
I failed to write down Toms surname, he was the same player that Ritchie played. I bagged a Steam Tank over two turns with bloodcurdling roar. Tom's warmachines politley blew themselves up. Tom's general's unit also with a warrior priest and BSB fled from one of my charge and hoofed it off the board. Chuck got spanked by a warrior priest in the greatswords, however i still won that combat and my chariot chased them down. My chaff messed with his flagellants and basically got his two big flaggie blocks into each of my warrior units, who went through them like the clap. This ended up as a massive 20-0 win for me

6: I forgot to write thier name down (Skaven)
This game was against one of the dragonslayers boys, from the start it looked like it was going to be a really quick game, he gunned down my level 4 turn 1 with a WLC, charmed shield my arse! Plague caused a massive amount of damage to my army. We ended up with a massive ruck in the center which included one of my chariots, chuck, both of my warrior block, stormvermin, plague monks and giant rats. Chuck ate the warlord on war litter, my warriors kept winning the rounds of combat, eventually some of the rattie blocks broke, the plague monks being chased off the board. The stormvermin the fled, getting me the bsb too, and they ended up fleeing off the board over two turns. so I managed to claw it back to a really high Vps 6-14 loss.

overall, I had 6 great games against 6 good opponents and got to play 6 different armies. Good event, and I will be going back next year (though I may sort out tickets earlier!)

I'm not, but no point turning them away when they present themselves.

I imagine I'll only be doing two big tournaments this year, SCGT and Cardiff. I was planning to go to Tempest but going to knock that on the head, if Warrington is in September I'll be busy with my dissertation and thsi year's Tides will be a campaign weekend so I imagine a small event with no rankings. If Lurker run another GT in November I might do that since I should be done as a student then and hopefully working and earning.
