two updates in two days, I'll have to slow down or I'll do myself a mischief!

I put this one together at the weekend, it's the first model for a Khorne mordheim warband I've started work on, using the Carnival of Chaos rules

The reasoning behind the warband is to improve my rust and gore techniques (and finally do some snow basing!)





The rust was basically starting with a dark brown base coat, then stippling of various browns and oranges, with a final stippled coat of silver.

The gore was an experimental idea, snow flock, PVA glue, scab red and a bit of purple and black inks, quite pleased with how it turned out.

Rust and gore looking very nice indeed!  You've done a great job on the board as well.  Let me know when you want bitz for a shrine or something - I may have a few good pieces to offer :-)

just a quick one, finished a second Brethren for the Khornival of Chaos:



I'm undecided whether or not to put gore onto this one as the large blade works quite nicely to emphasise the rust

Cheers seb, the aim with this warband/side project was to sort out a rust technique, seem to have sussed it within 2 models!

Just finished these off, really stalled with the painting of them so it got a bit rushed in the end just to get them done!

As I'm now unsure about dwarves for Valhalla (it's impossible to write a fun and good list), I think it will have to be the warriors for me. Bring on the bus!
