If you're not enjoying tournaments due to seeing the same old builds then SCGT will be ten times as bad as Tempest, the massive comp should make a dent in peoples' filth netlists at this one.

What are you playing with these days Ol?  If it's a revitalisation you're after I reckon you need to get talking to Chris Cousens (aussie), he's on TWF as RampagingPenguins.  That man creates by far the most enjoyable builds I've seen on a regular basis.  He just took out one of Oz's big tourneys using a beastman army with no magic in it.  As soon as 8th came out he started running HE with a dragon because everyone said it was rubbish.  And before that he ran a WoC army which absolutely flew across the table at you (in 7th).

I played him in one of his last games before leaving the UK and ruined Chosen for him by shooting the hell out of them as they plodded across the table, which convinced him that they were the dullest thing in the list.

I'd say his playstyle is best described as 'offensive' and his favourite tactic is to sprint over the table and muller your units with some huge number of attacks wherever possible.  It's a far removed style from that of the dull vc,skaven sit back and bore you to death builds.

It also helps that he's one of the most enthusiastic people in the world!

It's basically down to the time it takes me to paint an army now (as I sold my VC)..

I am using WoC now for the next few tournies, and it will actually be finished in time for SCGT, even though I would love to take my Beasts...
