The WAR club are holding their annual trade show with a number of wargame competitions inlcuding Flames of War, Warhammer Fantasy and Warhammer 40,000 at the Rivermead Lesiure Centre in Reading (over the road from spiky for those who have come down to Spiky Events.)

Warhammer is 2000points, 40K is 1500 I believe. More details can be found below including a full list of competitions and how to enter.

Was a good event last year, ask Lee for details.

OG Games will be having a stand there again for the 2nd year, come and see us in the Bring & buy hall

the event was good fun last year (at least the bottom tables were, I never got too far up!)

And if its being held at Rivermead you could actually find out if it floats......  :))
In the summer of 2011 he moved North... spreading the word of House OG.

A good fun weekend of gaming at Warfare this year, just 14 of us in the end so a very small event.

A brief outline of my weekend below

Battle line vs Life High Elves, VG player could not kill the HE in time as they kept coming back lost 7 - 13
Diagonal vs High Elves with fire & shadow - Managed to shoot down 30 white lions with BSB & lvl 4 a win for 16 - 4
Battle for the pass vs Night goblins & troll bunker - shot trolls to peices & dryads killed peripheral stuff 16 - 4 win
Random deployment vs High Elves (prince with lvl 1 death magic) cagey game got a draw as my dryads missed a single fleeing archer (250 point unit)
Blood & Glory vs loads of magic beast men, shooting massacred them, dryads finished them of, broke the army turn 6, 20 nil

Overalll came 3rd but still struggle against big magic armies & high armour, but one thing all opponents agreed on was they would rather I had a treeman/treekin than all those dryads.

Matt won best army for his seaguard ship.

It was cosy!

Was a good bit of practice for the UL GT this weekend.
