The Wandsworth Waargh II - WFB Doubles, October 3rd

To celebrate the release of 8th Ed and the fact we now have a nice private function room in the Pub, we are going to hold the 2nd Wandsworth Waargh on Sunday the 8th of October.

We have 10 places for teams and the cost is £10 per team.
There will be prizes for the top 2 teams and as an extra bonus, anything you buy from the shop and pay with cash on the day will earn you a whopping 17.5% discount off the normal RRP.
Simply PM me on here and I will get your order ready for the day.

The event is held on in the function room above the Spread Eagle pub in Wandsworth and will comprise of 3 games of WFB 8th Ed and will start at 11am and run till 6pm (times TBC)

We have a few simple comp rules and restrictions, there might be some change in the next few weeks, so keep an eye on this thread.

THE RULES 

10 teams (at least 6 for OG)

Doubles, 2K Army, using any of the current army books, no Indy GT Chaos Dwarves I'm afraid.

All figures must be painted and based to a decent tabletop standard, and must have movement trays where appicable.

1K each player in team, (1k per Force), 2K total for the Army.

Trusted or Suspicious allies only (using the BrB rules for them, eg BSB etc)

DE and Skaven are permitted but will follow the Fragile alliance rules (ie it could get nasty)

However each Force must have a general.

No same race alliances

No Lords,  your Force must follow the following % split - 25% Heroes, 25%+ Core, 50% Special, 25% Rare per force

No treble special

No Double Rare (excludes 2-1 Rares, ie spawn's , Bolt Throwers)

Max 3 warmachines per Army

All gifts, runes, powers, magic items are unique for the Army

No gift, power, item is allowed that lets a user know an entire magic lore

3 games using 3 scenarios from the BrB

1) The Watchtower

2) Blood & Glory

3) Battleline


Race Comp

TK: Can have either a TP or a LP as general and Heirophant
DoC: Max of 20 Horrors in an Army
DE: Max 6 PD can be used per spell (includes using a dagger PD), Assasins 0-1 choice from Special points
Empire: Engineer & Helstrom are mutually exclusive
OK: A Butcher can be the Force's General

All Race Comp

The Power Scroll is prohibited

If you would like to enter please say so below and give me the names of your team members and an overall team name
Payment is needed asap otherwise your spot will not be held for long, please pay via cash down at the club or send £10 via paypal as a gift to OG@oggames.co.uk. Put your team name down with the payment notes.

Team army lists will be needed one week before the date for checking that the list is legal. Please email to the above email address or PM me with it on here.

EDIT: Lists deemed not in the spirit of the event will be rejected, 8th is new and the comp is in it's infancy, this has always been a fun event and not a GT, there are no rankings points on offer, so please try to create a list that is hard yet fun to play against.
