I'm fully embracing the total "bonkersness" of 8th so far and bringing out everyones favourite, massively underpowered, big guys for the Tale of OG gamers!

I've made a bit of a headstart today and made some really good progress on the first unit, so pics will be up on Sunday. My first 200 points is...

4 Ogre Bulls w/ Additional Handweapon = 156
22 Gnoblar Fighters = 44

Still putting some thoughts into the first 600 points but hope to post it in the next couple of days. Hopefully by taking an army of the big guys I can put a lot of time into the painting and hopefully come up with something that will look good and be fun to play with.

Oh, and 8th edition Scraplaunchers = foul!!!!

Here's my first WiP's of my first unit of Ogre Bulls. The flesh (minus tatoos and faces) and the metal parts of the weapons are pretty much done.

its annoying how quickly you can paint stuff well!

In the summer of 2011 he moved North... spreading the word of House OG.

Ogre's are bum... VC are less bum - hence the change!

1 Vampire (+ toys to get it to the max 150 allowed at 600!) = 150
6 Dire Wolves = 48

Total = 198

Sorry nothings based yet... will put the finished pics up this weekend

I like the colour scheme Steve, good work. Can't quite tell from the photos if it's red or slightly pinky, but it contrasts very well with the black, grey and bone.

Dogs look very much like Russ Veals ones.  Have you seen how he based his army, looks fantastic.

Might be cheesy but the old snow bases I think would work a treat with these guys, maybe with old rocks and tree stumps as well...
