Three of from MKWGS played in the Dragon Slayers warm up for this event at the weekend, me & Matt had a fairly mediocre performance finishing mid table (really not happy with my WE list for this event).

Our team mate Steve Knight however took home the gold beating Chris Legg in the final round, so one to watch for the Open.

It will be very odd playing the game for the evry last time, like saying goodbye to an old friend.

But massiveley reved up for 8th the more I play the more I love the change in tactics & the way the game flows.

Two ringers, 1 English and 1 Polish. I've ordered some Team T-shirts and I'm hoping they'll arrive before I fly out.

What have you got for your first round draw?

Empire for me, having lost my last two games against them hoping to have learned from my experiance, but with Andy Potter as my opponent it will be a tough game.
