Had much fun using the Dirty DE, did a little experiment by playing them completely the opposite way you are meant to, is forget half the rules, items , charging Xbow men into CC etc..

And look how many De players I beat  :))

3 wins, one 20-0 loss vs Leggy and 2 small losses...Hilarious!

Won't ever us them again though, Beasts and TK (maybe LM) all the way in 8th

Cyberactivity

Yeah, the best in race trophies were made of win.

I really liked all the ones that I saw and really gave ppl something to play for even if they weren't doing that well in comparison to the rest of the field.

It was a shame that the bret player had to drop out as I think the winner of the bret player only barely managed to beat his score, even though he had played 3 games more! :)

I really enjoyed my last fantasy event.  Andy thanks for the great weekend.  But seeing 8th i am soo happy to be playing Warmahordes now.

Really enjoyed that event, will be talking about it in the podcast (we have to re-record we got loads of buzzing :-( Thanks to Ol for bringing the book to me! That was some interesting car reading on the way home. Can't wait for my first game of 8th edition though, I didn't want to play before the book came out and now have thrown away my old books as they are no longer needed.

You're missing out Rob, the game maybe bonkers but it's a lot of fun for both you and your opponent. While 7th was a good game, it wasn't always for both sides.

7th is dead, long live 8th!

I am well happy with 8th, its like having 15 new army books all at once & I want to play them all.

Had another game last night rolling loads of dice.

Time to get the High Elves back out Andy as they rock!

Blue Moon

Maybe some players don't like it when they can't break the game as easily!

Don't you worry Andy, they'll find a way.

But for now, it's a very refreshing change. Bring on the footsoldiers, leave big monsters at home. It's great, even though I forgot about 15 beneficial rules in my first game... And Chaos warriors are ace now, just as they should be.
