Right Guys, Mark has booked the hall for this and is advertising this to clubs in the local area, instead of just using TWF to get individuals, currently we have 8 places booked provisionally but if we get more people wanting to go, if we are quick we can get more.

I am going to be a helping Mark run it (means I have to get down pat quick quick with 8th Ed rules  ) and will be a By player in case..

The comp and army banding will be finalised after we get a good look at 8th but this will be a fun event.

It will be using 8th Ed rules, be at 1500 points and the day will consist of 4 games..
Tickets will only cost £5 and it's easy and cheap to get to the venue from London..

Can I have a show of hands who is keen to come along, will be a good chance to get some competitve 8th Ed games in before Warrington..

Hi Guys, I just wanted to mention that this event is being offered to OG Games & a number of localish clubs prior to remainimng places being put on the open forum, I have done this in an attemmpt to encourage new players into the tournament scene which I believe is necessary to increase the player pool.
As such I would be gratefull if this was not posted up on any other forums.

As for the event I am lookning at a banding basic adjustment to the army & character selection but very few other restrictions.
My initial thoughts are below:

Army Banding

Band A:    Daemons of Chaos, Dark Elves.

Band B:    Lizardmen, Skaven, High Elves, Wood Elves, Warriors of Chaos, Chaos Dwarfs, Dwarfs,
Tomb Kings of Khemri, Bretonians, The Empire, Vampire Counts.

Band C:    Orcs & Goblins, Ogre Kingdoms, Dogs of War, Beastmen.

Army Selection Restrictions

No Named characters or champions of any kind.
No Duplicate Special or Rare choice allowed
A Maximum of 50% from each category allowance may be spent on units with missile weapons (this includes war-machines but excludes characters).
