Ritchie, You should def take your ogres to this type of comp as it will be a much more level playing field than any GW event & like many have said at least there is a best OK prize.

I am taking We for that very reason, as although they have been badly comped (all best troops limited, dryads, WD, TM, GG) I will be aiming for best WE general (currently in second place! curse you Guy Palmer!), just hoping that the DOC comp slows them down a bit.

Having read the comp, I'm still not convinced, seems to me yes they lose a few combos of toys, but overall I'm sure we will see DoC and DE still dominate due to the total overwhelming strength of the books..
Only comp like Slaughter can really stop the filth fest...
But I will still go down expecting to have fun, plus I have never been to Pompey before..

I don't know what army I will be taking as it's in the hands of the vote at the mo...
