Though was simplified closest first?

yeah but think from what i heard u should be still able to choose what strength and ap wound  the models take in planed way as u go through the unit closest to furthest. so u still could give a instant wound to some one with a Invaluable save ?

It is, but Look out sir doesn't follow those rules, so if you leave an IC as the closest model you can pass the wounds around anyone in the unit within 6" on a 2+... And theres no rules for removing whole models first other than taking the wounds on the closest one first.

Its a big blind spot in the rules and sure its easily avoided by not leaving the IC as the closest model, but its quite funny.

But the best one is Ork Nobz, they are all classified as characters in the rules (Meganobz aren't so its clearly a fuckup...), meaning that they all get LOS on a 4+ and you can hand the wounds around the unit as you wish everytime you make it. Good job GW!

There is no problem in life that can't be solved with Heroic Killing Blow:
Plague Furnace, Abomination, Hydra, Wyvern, Arachnarok, Engine of the Gods, Zombie Dragon, Vargulf, Hellcannon. To be continued...

If we assume that there are infinite universes, then in at least one of them, I'm banging Emma Watson. Awesome!

Nah its shooting players choice which order the wounds are allocated. So if you tried to put a different armour save as closest model, they can just dump the small arms fire into him until he dies from dice volume, then the insta gib wounds can go on the next models. Or however you feel is best for the result, I can see it being really tactical  in some situations depending how the enemy unit is lined up.

Ol GK Halberds have there own rules don't they (bonus initiative) therefore are a unique weapon and AP3.

Im a bit concerned about the assault rules. Bit like wfb 7th - if you go first and kill everything in base to base the other side cannot fight back as nothing will be within 2" of a model in b2b. Makes it much harder for armies like Orks to bring numbers into the mix esp. now pile in has reduced to 3"

Firstly, I think it's only ICs that can Look Out on a 2+, and they have to take the wound.

The shooting player gets to decide the order in which different strength, AP etc wounds are rolled, closest casualties dying first. But yes, Look Out can be another model in the unit within 6", so the rule is a bit loose in that regard.
"Sanguinius. It should have been him. He has the vision and strength to take us to victory, and wisdom to rule once victory is won. For all his aloof coolness, he alone has the Emperor's soul in his blood. Each of us carries part of our father - Sanguinius holds it all." Horus

Peeps will still hate Paladins as they are Infantry/Characters (so 4+ Look Out for all models)...

God they are too! Good work GW, you had a chance to fix the horrible Wound Allocation abuse and all you managed was to make it 50% harder to do...
