Mark, it was a great event, Ed and I had a great time. Well run and no complaints despiter your claim that it was the biggest singles 1 dayer!!!

For some reason I thought Winter War was a two day event, still biggest event in 8th, looking for a bigger venue with less time constraints for next year so we may be able to wrestle the crown from you in 2011.

Good result bye the way with your last minute Dark Elf List, just shows they can still cut-it!

Dark Elves were on all 3 top tables in the final round at the one dayer I was at.  The other lists were Skaven, Warriors of Chaos and Dwarfs (me). Ended up the WoC player jumped to first, DE 2nd and 3rd and the skaven player won but got zero for soft as unpainted armies were allowed so dropped way out despite winning (would have been 2nd to DE on battle).
