This is a very inexpert opinion, but if the whole point of changing the min and max % of types of units was to make the game more balanced, especially in tournaments, by increasing the game size above 2000 to allow the big bad nasty lords etc, doesn't that seem a little counter productive?

25 for Lords, 25 for Heroes.

Not much change for most people TBH.

Big change for armies with relatively Cheap Lords.

e.g. OnG, Empire etc

Means  I can field a General and an Archlector or maybe 2 of each. :-)

Won't happen Andy, as the tournament spunkoids will find a new way to take powerful armies and combos.

The rules are rarely the problem with the game.

A straight 2000 point game stops most of the big nasties, but still lets the bloodthirster through the net & without the other big nasties to counter him he runs amok.

Mind you he may well have a problem not being shot of the table with the new cover rules.

It lets the thirster through, but without all the upgrades which are what make him really nasty.

And he is rather vulnerable to getting blatted these days with so few places to hide.
