My next army project (after finishing painting my Deathwing)

I have been thinking quite a lot about starting another army for 40k (also, some people have suggested I should do so because they won't play my Deathwing ever again... ).

Well, I perfectly agree with the assesment that the army is a bit dull and about as subtle as a sledgehammer... which was a good change for me, because I have been playing Eldar for so long.

After discarding the idea of a GK army (like the fluff, but book is kind of bent and there is so many players allready...), Deamons (Yeah, something different, but let's face it, they s**k in 40k ((no offense )) and I usually play armies that are not evil), IG (to many models, not enough space atm), I decided to do another marine army. (boring, I know)

No BA or SW, vanilla Space Marines!

And since most people doing vanilla use Vulcan, I decided not to... , and go for the good old Ravenguard.
I like their fluff, don't know a lot of people who play them, and I like the fact that you can make them very fluffy (Vanguard Veteran Squad, YEAH ) but also quite competitive (10 TH/SS Terminators infiltrating/outflanking and beeing fleet is just the filth we need )

I have some modelling ideas as well and a rough idea what the army will consist off, but any comments and suggestions are very much appreciated.

Oh sorry, that did not come across right. I will be using Vanguard Vets for fluffy games, and swap them for termies when I want to make the list a bit more competitive

Are you not going to wait until 6th is coming out? I really don't see Vendettas or mech getting nerfed
