My first time using light over life and was pleasantly surprised. Game 3 played against lizards with Life and without knowing the whole lore I thought his magic was a bit meh.

That figures. I've always found life a bit underwhelming... Life magic didn't excite me much either  (sorry)

Yeah I think light is more fun. But every time I miscast I started sweating : P Especially without re-roll miscasts at this tournament.

Yeah we both had solo Slanns. Slightly different lists though. He had 2 big blocks of SKrox and a unit of Saurus. With 4! Scar Veterans on cold ones.

I had only 2 Scar Veterans on Cold Ones and Cavalry as well. Along with more normal Saurus. The person I played game 3 on table 2 had Life Slann, Oldblood on cold one, 3 Scar Vets on cold ones, and Stegadon.
So in total 3 Slanns, 9 Scar Veterans, 200 odd skinks, 100 odd Saurus on top 2 tables alone in final game.

And thanks. My first podium so quite happy.

I had realized long before the event that the comp was inadequate, I am working on a much heavier pack for September which is likely to be 4 games of 1600 points with no lords & most big monsters removed to try & generate some decent armies on the tables.
