I can guarantee that one of these things will happen (or maybe all of them)

c) will stop updating  this thread after exactly zero piccies have been put up, due to starting  another thread for 2011 army number 14 b

:cool3:

Aaah the benefit of hindsight... :wink;m::

And a piccy of you getting pissed, does not count... :cool3:

Right, so it's update day today... I'm currently at work so pics will follow on tonight but I'll do the donkey work now!

I've currently got 9 knights of the realm, 8 questing knights, 20 peasant bowmen, a mounted damsel, mounted lord and mounted bsb done to a level where they are playable with (and tournament legal).

There's a huge way to go with all of these but it's important I get them all done to a level just so I've got something to play with while the army grows! I reckon these are about  50 % done in total. I've also done the bases for 4 peg knights using the osgiliath ruins boxset which are coming along nicely...

I have been doing a ton of work on the new finecast version of King Louen and his hippogryph buddy beaquis... I'm getting really happy with this guy and even though he won't see much "competitive" play outside of OG comp... The model was too gorgeous to pass up!!! Pics tonight!!!

Final thing, (and don't laugh Ol!!) I'm going to try to play only brets for the foreseeable future and will try to keep this log going as a gaming blog as well as a hobby one... The brets are getting their debut run-out this weekend in a few games at Steve C's house so I'll try to get some updates with how they went over the weekend - I predict a lot of Jack the shuffle landing screaming skulls on my hippogryph man and him running around on foot a lot!!!

Cheers, Stevo...

Loving the grubby little peasents, and as you say Louen Leoncour is looking great (though I prefer the original model  :wink;m::), but love the paint job.

Indeed a cool colour combo and the peasants look great.

Not up to speed on Fantasy after so long, but do the spears in the ground count as additional men until you're down to your last few? Or is it purely for decoration/theme?
"Sanguinius. It should have been him. He has the vision and strength to take us to victory, and wisdom to rule once victory is won. For all his aloof coolness, he alone has the Emperor's soul in his blood. Each of us carries part of our father - Sanguinius holds it all." Horus
