I dismantled the w/b/r rubbish I've been pushing around and came up with this.

I quite like the idea of the master of the feast/fate unraveler axis and have thought about the w/b god but I'm not sure it adds much to this deck. Another lanch the fleet and a Elspeth or 2 might be a good idea too. Thoughts?

Some nice comboes but a bit slow me thinks,  maybe [card]soldier of the pantheon[/card] as a good one drop

I like the master/fate combo, going to use that one myself me thinks :)

Is there enough black devotion to warrant Gary I wonder?

Gary will probably go as I improve the deck - its a decent weapon late on though even if it just takes 3/4 life - particularly in multiplayer. I need to try and think single player as well mind

-The issue with master of the feast in multiplayer is that you are not just giving one Oppenent an extra card, you are giving each opponent an extra card ( and 99% of the time taking an extra damage for it doesn't bother people (just look at underworld connections) so if there are 5 players, master of the feast is a four for one every turn, it's not like in single player when you have 4 turns and 8 draws to find an answer to it otherwise you are dead, he'll put you sa far behind that he's not worth considering and in multiplayer a 5/5 for isn't as ridiculous as it sounds (just look at desecration deamon and how he's really good in 1 v 1 but his value decreases exponentially in multiplayer)

- [card]launch the fleet[/card] is a god awful card and you  should take it out in my opinion

- wing steed rider is only good in draft (he's not even very good in sealed) and unless you are making a deck around heroic (in which Akroan sky guard is unconditionally better) u should drop him for a better body , especially as you have only 4 triggers for heroic, herald of torment or eidolon of countless battles.

- fortify is a bad card. period. ( it would be army playable if u actually had a method of poundin out huge amounts of tokens every turn but u don't so it's not worth it)

- any deck that can't draw cards or doesn't win in 4 turns is a bad deck because you have to rely on top decking, I recommend underworld connections (don't complain and say its a rare and that u don't have it it costs £2) or even read the bones.

- you don't have the devotion to make grey merchant work

- evangel of Heliod does not replace elspeth!!! 6 mana for what's likely to be 4 tokens is a pretty rubbish rate if u ask me (especially cos a bile blight kills the lot) try precinct captain to make tokens (again he costs like 50p no complaining about him beig a rare whenever I suggest one)

- dauntless onslaught is not worth playing in a deck with 1 heroic trigger (or even in a deck with loads) if you are desperate for some targeting try chosen by Heliod or scourge mark ( they trigger and cantrip so you aren't losing card advantage)

- fate unraveller is bad unless your making a deck around him and he also makes other people hate you in multiplayer

- in multiplayer Heliod is really good late game as a mana sink which could also swing, I would advise 1 copy if you can obtain one

- gods willing can often just sit in your hand as a dead card, and even if it saves your threat it's still a 1 for 1 , I would replace it with some sort of threat (like soldier if the pantheon or tormented hero )

- archangel of thune is not that great a card on its own without incremental life gain (you had the right idea with staff of the sun magus despite how awful that card is) if you are hell bent on keeping him in the deck try nyx-fleece ram (which is decent in multiplayer) or something that can gain u some life as well as do other things like and extort creature (I recommend tithe drinker he's probably the most fairly costed. Or if you don't want to include those things I would recommend replacing archangel with something more cos efficient than a 3/4 for 5 (like obzedat) or if you don't want to fork up £8 for an insane card try herald of torment.

Why do you think it is that bad?

@ Mike - I agree with Gui on many of his points (including the ones I had to spell check  :wink;m::). Get the Sheep in, sitting behind a 0/5 wall of wool that gives you a life a turn is very good in my opinion. He's only an uncommon iirc, so I bet you have 4 in your booster box. As for the master of feasts, I agree with his point, but I am still going to run some in my B/U deck as it's fun, I see you have the combo with the hag, so it might not be all that bad (in the meta we play in) so give him a go...I think people will keep him alive to draw the cards for a while, so you will get some value out of him...it's not going to be great, but he's fun....

I totally disagree with you on master of feasts, the only use being gotten out if him is the fact that he's making the game un winnable for mike as he is so far behind, and tbh taking 1 damage from the hag is no big deal, and I would be glad to do it especially since it's helping people draw into answers for it should it ever become worrying

And believe me iv tested master of the feast about 20 times in different decks and he's been bad every time, he just dies as soon as the opponent has drawn the first card to make him a one for 2. Moreover, the timing of the draw is only a bad thing because it means in multiplayer everyone draws at the same time, so there is a general consensus as to when the best time to kill it is, so you won't get people waiting to get to their turn or whatever for the extra draw
