I went to see Avatar 3D last night, really is the film version of Lady Gaga, looks new and unusual at first but you soon realise there is no depth and just a lot a predictable guff....

I thought that might be the case...

Finally got round to watching the new Star Trek a couple of night ago on dvd.
Excellent, bring on the sequel.....nuff said.

Saw Law Abiding Citizen the other day, very good film and not a poor action film that I expected. In fact it reminded me a lot of Seven, well worth a watch.

Also Fantastic Mr Fox was great, based on the Roald Dahl book, an easy watching film.

I really recommend District 9 if you havn't seen it yet, thought it was fantastic, and has some great action scenes in it.

I'd heard good things about Avatar so hoping to watch it this weekend, not for the plot, just the visuals.

Law Abiding Citizen was good, felt like the Dark Knight (Same cinematography and same sense of Good versus Evil)

On Avatar; the film does not exist without 3d. If you are looking for any traces of a script there, you will be disappointed. Of course it's a predictable heap of poo. But the 3d is awesome in my humble opinion. It's head and shoulders above the previous '3d' stuff where things were jumping out at you from a 2d background.

I finally watched The Big Lebowski the other day and I am a devout now. Dude.

Watched Rising Sun last night. Good movie by Crichton, plot kept me interested and Tia Carrera was looking hot in it!

Of all the programmes shown, the Sabbath rock family tree is the don't miss. Saw it when it was first on, and it's great.
