Doc Strange was a big fave of mine, but very difficult to make into a film as there was little genuine 'action' and it was a little more cerebral (as comics go) the last version of Strange was cack and if anyone has a copy they should help save the world and burn it!

Silver Surfer / Galacticus would make a great film, fantastic backstory!

Do you mean the animated Doc Strange film? A bit too removed from the source to be a great translation really... has anyone seen the animated Wonder Woman film? She decapitates people with her tiara... its pretty hardcore for a cartoon.
Well Hello!

I'm not saying she's my hero but who wouldn't kill for gowns like those?

No, I meant the 1978 TV movie with Peter Hooten as the good Doctor, bobbins!  :bash;m:

I tend to pretend Marvel superhero movies pre-2000 don't really exist, they're never usually much cop.

Even thought I loved the 70's Spiderman TV movies....

I still have not watched 'The watchmen' yet, only been waiting 20 years for this..Big big fan of the novel..

Has anyone watched the watchmen yet... What did you think?

Mate, you know I am as big a fan as you and I have to say, don't bother.

I know this may be shocking, some things they have got right are;
The chap playing Kovacs, spot on looks and just about right temperament
most of the production design

And some bad things:
Despite being overlong they miss plot nuances
It is a blooming action film, why!
Cheap gags

Just my thoughts, not discussed with anyone though so what do others think?

I just watched Sir Henry at Rawlinson End...

I would try and explain the plot etc, but it's so out there I think you'd better just watch the trailer:

It is just brilliant.

Good man. Vivian Stanshall is one of my all time heroes, and the film is a cracker. Not quite up to the original album, but close.

I watched "Captain Kronos" the other day - great film, then sat through "The Lost Continent". One of the most bizarre flicks I have ever seen. I've read the book too, many years ago.
