General thread here, what have people been watching recently then?

I'm currently working my way through the "Hammer House of Horror" '80s TV series. Seen most of the good ones, just working my way through the dross now.

Also had a watch of "Night of the Demon" yesterday morning (woke up at 6am and had nothing else to do for two hours), 'cos I love it. I also watched "The Projected Man" the other day, 'cos I prefer odd sci fi tales over the "war film/western in space" style of science fiction.

Not sure what to watch this weekend. Pete Walkers "The Comeback" is looking due for a view, as I've only seen it the once. Outstanding beginning, and Bill Owen (yes, that one) is bloody terrifying in it. I've also managed to get a copy of Hammers "The Maniac" from 1963 to watch at some point.

Oh, and I'm in the mood to give "The Damned" another whirl - paranoid cold war '60s sci fi, set in a seaside town. Great stuff.

Watched "In Bruges" again the other day... love it, others seem to hate it!.  Also feel that the two greatest films ever will get an outing this weekend, Blues Brothers and Tremors.

Watched the Omen the other night, Good movie and Gregory Peck isnt as wooden as normal in it!

My office is 5 mins from the park & church where Pat Troughton met Peck, then got chased into the churchyard and spiked.

Watched "In Bruges" again the other day... love it

Cracking film, watched twice in 2 days when we first rented it, since then must have watched another 3-4 times when showing it to other's for the first time..
I am working my way through old TV shows before I start on new ones, last season of 6 Feet Under, 3 season of Enterprise and the 2nd season of deadwood.
And I just watched the recently released 'Joy Division' Documentary, very good indeed it was..

Watched one called "The Brighton Strangler" the other night, very good film. I'd forgotten how much I like these B&W oddities from the '40s & '50s. Recorded a film noir that was on last week, so I'll try to get around to that at some point.

Also stuck Can Film on, as I never tire of watching it.
