So I've decided to start a blog on here. I've managed to come to one game night and took a beating from Tom's Skaven. Great night and hope to make it more of a permanent fixture. Here's my first model posted on these forums. More photos over on the blog so check them out here - http://elfordminis.blogspot.co.uk/2012/06/ork-burna-bommer.html

Dave

looking good, nice vibrant yellow, airbrush or normal brush?

AdamElford

Thanks a lot. It's all brush work minus the original undercoat of white :)

Toast

The grime, weathering and freehands are superb.  What is your fantasy army?

AdamElford

Thanks a lot. If I was to redo it, I would change the Ork glyphs to red. Seem lost being black.

I use a Skaven army myself. I've got Orcs and Goblins, Daemons and Beastmen in the works. Need to finish up the Skaven first :)

It's only been out a week!

Really like it, great weathering effect and nice colour scheme

I put it together Wednesday and undercoated it. Done both bases aswell. Got it all painted yesterday. Almost done on the second one as we speak. Follow me to see WIP shots @elfordminis

Ditto! How did you paint it so quickly? I am exhausted just thinking about it.

Just planning I guess. I know how I want to do it and I'm just a fast painter.

It's just stippling with black paint. Was really simple and quick.
