Kind of off topic, but hey, can't shake the chaos habit entirely:

Hmm, I've just realised that the handy piece of metal just the right thickness for making magnetic movement trays is actually a spare top plate for my washing machine door.  Or it was before I cut it in half.

Ha! thats ace. hobby is the priority of real life concerns.

really like the look of the paint jobs mate, the obvious effort is putting out some lovely results. My favorite so far (despite not being a fan of the models) is the tree kin, realy sinister but the sprites add some welcome colour.

looking forward to seeing more stuff

Here's the hero on great eagle!  A piece of coat hanger was used for the core of the tree, with bt phone wires twisted around it.  Glue the base with Araldite.  Cover the tree frame in polyfilla.  It was still a bit soft, particularly where the polyfilla had not been compacted, for example on the small branches.  So I painted it, sprayed two heavy coats of gloss varnish over it, (finally found a use for that awful stuff), and it was harder to the touch.  There are probably better alternatives to polyfilla - plaster of Paris, if you have some.  I then basecoated with scorched brown, maybe with a bit of black and devlan mud added in.

that's cool, where did the stone face come from?  Sure I've seen it elsewhere but can't think what.
