Finally after much procrastinating, here's February's painting tasks done:

Procrastination by Numbers - Update 146:

I'm painting classic Dwarfs!! PbN Update 146

Very nice, like the phoneix guard, think this is the first time I've seen the new plastics painted up (other than GWs version).  I see why some people still preferred the older versions they do look rather bulky but that's mostly robe and cloak so they can get away with it.

Cheers mate, I have to see having spent a lot of time looking at them close up, I think the robes really work - a bugger to paint with all the, what GW call, negative space - i.e. space within the cloak but I think they look good as models. Was never a fan of the old GW Phoenix Guard, they just looked a bit clunky - I was about to get some when the new models came out so am glad I waited!
