I'm currently in the process of putting together a substantial amount of plastic soldiers and need more glue - the question is what is the best. GW is obviously not great and I don't like the army painter plastic glue either as its too thin and the stuff I built usising it falls apart pretty quickly.
I know Pete just uses superglue but does anyone have any good recommendations?
I use Army Painter superglue for everything and it's amazing... But that's not the answer you wanted!
Ol swears by a plastic glue, I think by Revell? He can let you know...
Brush on superglue for everything.
GW glue is absolute rubbish.
As you know, I usually end up using this as it's pretty common to find in non-specialist shops (I got mine from WH Smiths, for example):

But I remember Sami recommending Gale Force 9 glue to me previously.
I use the Loctite stuff for metal miniatures but for plastic Revel contacta is excellent. It has a very thin nozzle so you only put a little dab on and it makes a very strong bond for the plastic.

100% agree! it's by far the best out there! I would have stocked it but has to buy it in the 100's ..
It's very strong, it lasts for ever, it has a long metal nozzle so is great for applying and when the nozzle clogs up, simply use a lighter for a second to heat up and clear the nozzle...simply have not found a better plastic glue out there...
I have emailed you a link to the Ebay seller I get mine from...
