I've worked out the undocumented yellow circle.

It shows which cards have a triggered effect, not relating directly to an action on that card.

example, Every time someone mutates, draw a card.

Yep the 2 player game I played with GAry was totally bonkers, I virtually had a full tribe out by the end of round one but the game still went the whole distance, I won it 3-2 in the end aided by the power of the Dark goblins in the last few turns...
