Procrastination by Numbers - Update 146:

I'm painting classic Dwarfs!! PbN Update 146

Piss bored of painting the same thing over and over?

This mass army shot gig is going to force me to go all competitive and rock out my armies to see how they compare.  Most of them quite simply don't come close but I wonder about the dwarfs, only thing I lack are nice 600+ pts characters riding monsters.  That said I've still got one model out the dwarf book I've never painted and any dwarf player worth their salt will tell you it's virtually compulsory to have one and that's a lord on shieldbearers.

Anyways enough trying to be a competitive twat and comparing the size of mine to yours (fyi a tank brush would possibly suffice but I've never tried, if this makes no sense look back a page or two).  Fantastic work to have stuck with an army to this size, it is a truely awesome sight, now pass me those cheese and onion crisps, I've not eaten for weeks.

You have to keep your strength up now that you're eating for 2 Dave!
Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed. Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, "It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver."

Big, hairy testicles?

That's for me to know, and you not to find out!

Do you know what, no, not in the slightest. Even the recent army has been painted up alongside Beastmen, Warrior and Dreadfleet bits so there's always been variation. For me though the High Elf models are all amazing, and all the colours come out well - with the Chaos stuff the horns always come out a bit and miss, and Dwarf beards are a bit frustrating but none (with the exception of White Lion skin) of the colours used here are a pain to paint.

Haha didn't mean to start a competition! Got the tank brush reference, well done for remembering that!

Cheers mate, much appreciated. Is the eating comment in reference to how long it took to get through the blog?

Nah it's cos I'm a fat git who munches crisps non stop on trains as though I'd not eaten anything for ages.

Though that may have been a joke and not one that gets better through explaining.

I'm pretty sure I can't comment on jokes that need explanation!

That is a good idea - though would require lots of Microsoft Paint drawing. And would need to get a van in to bring all those models to the club!
