Its suppose to look like US Army UCP (Universal Camo Pattern) and it just came off as very Tau like.  It may look a bit messy but I've got the shaky hand that painting hate and women love so. Either way that is the result.

I'll give my paint design break down:
A base of Dheneb Stone
Then a speckling of Catachan green (due to its darker factor)
Followed by Gretchin green (which is lighter and help breaks up the two other shades

Scab Red and Dark Angels Green for the lights and wires. (Red for weapon systems and Green for regular/night vision). Maybe too much though but I like consistency.

Dheneb Stone for all Armour then I plan to mix this with Mirthril (or basically metallic base) with Dheneb stone for heavier armour such as Broadsides or Iridium and for the front of HHs.

Burnished Gold for communications, i.e. antennae and Charadon Grey for weapons (as opposed to the painfully abused Chaos black)

I'm not too advanced so I'm going to work on base layers for now and hopefully do some 'scarring' on some of the Shas'vre and commander suits to give them a tougher not so anime look.

Hopefully I'll get more to you in the near future.
