QuoteFantasy Flight Games is proud to announce Dunwich Denizens, the sixth and final classic Asylum Pack of Forgotten Lore for Call of Cthulhu: The Card Game. Lunatic Sorcerors and the grotesque abomination, The Dunwich Horror, stalk the lonely hillsides of rural New England and the forbidden libraries of Miskatonic University in Dunwich Denizens.

This Asylum Pack reintroduces 60 revised classic cards to the Living Card Game environment (3 copies each of 20 unique cards). The cards in Dunwich Denizens have been updated to incorporate the most recent FAQ, which can be found on the Call of Cthulhu support page. In addition, a number of cards have had text altered from their original printing, adjusting for game balance and rules clarity.

Whateley's Plan

Based on "The Dunwich Horror," Dunwich Denizens brings to your tabletop the abandoned farms, mist-shrouded hillsides, and eerie characters of one of Lovecraft's most chilling works of horror fiction. In Dunwich Denizens you will find not only the cursed Wilbur Whateley, but also the trio of heroic Miskatonic University professors who battle the hideous creation threatening to destroy the New England countryside.

While all the cards in Dunwich Denizens expand your deck-building options, one especially intriguing card is Whateley's Diary, a support card that can introduce a radical twist when played. With Whateley's Diary, you can redistribute success tokens you have won on your side of the stories in play, turning minor victories at multiple stories into a story won at just the right moment. That is, you can win multiple success tokens at each story, and just before your opponent wins a story, you can sacrifice the Tome and consolidate your success tokens to that story to win it! It is an expensive effect, but if played at the right time, it can catch your opponent off-guard and deliver you the winning story.
