My WoC (not daemons)

So, I will begin it here, mainly to give myself a kick to actually do some work...

Slaaneshi WoC army it is going to be, built around a 'deadly sins' motif,

- wrath - Knights - easy really
- lust - Marauder horsemen. I have a few sick ideas involving bits of horses, marauders and daemonnettes/witch elves.
- pride - easy one again. Lord + mirrors, Sigvald fluff style.
- sloth - some trouble here, but a sorcerer carried on as sort of palanquin with lots of little helpers to carry his books etc should do. I am not terribly happy with that, however. Any ideas?
- gluttony - giant, obviously, with big gaping maw built into his belly.
- greed - gold and slaves I suppose, can be used for any unit really
- envy - well, the army is being created out of my envy of some other people's armies...

Any feedback / ideas welcome.

I have put together some rough concept sketches for some of my ideas, will upload soon.
I will also try to achieve a 'latex' skin effect on some models. Should be hilarious if it works. Does anybody know how to do it?
Another thing, I will be after lots of chains and real, tiny mirrors. Where can one get such things from? Other than raid some Barbie house for pink mirrors...

I get my chains from one in kingston, should also be able to find something that would act as a small mirror as well.

I know theres a bead shop near Orcs Nest in central london if thats any use

There was a seven deadly sins Slaanesh Daemon army at a tourney in Reading earlier this year- but it looked rubbish. I'm sure you'll do the idea justice ;)

(Gluttony = ogres with wings as Furies, nice idea but u.g.l.y in practice!)

Yeah, I kind of suspected that somebody might have had this idea before me, it's actually a fairly obvious thing to do. Oh well, the individual ideas for models remain, I will just express the overall concept a bit less profoundly.

Even Hamleys' lil girlie doll house section don't have those %%%%%% mirrors...
Perhaps tesco or pound shops. If anyone encounters any horrible pink mirror like stuff in sizes from warhammer-scale hand held to a man-size, drop me a line.

Oh and also the sacred number of Slaanesh is 6, so you'll have to drop one. I would suggest envy, because that'd be awful to model (they're green with envy ).

An old flatmate of mine once had a huge row with his missus at Christmas about a dolls house. She wanted a proper one with all the kit and such, he went out to the Early Learning Centre and got one of those "My First House" three years and above ones, on the cheap, in spite of people telling him not to.

Finally...

And with the 'aid' of a water pipe loaded with ehemm ehemm, 3 glasses of port, and a playlist comprising a lovely variety (think latest by Chumbawamba, followed by Finntroll, and then World/Inferno Friendship society) I set off.

10 dogs almost done and horsies for the knights started. I did not bother with any of the heavy conversion stuff yet, just want the army for doubles done first.

The results are just as the 'aids' would suggest. I would call the style 'influenced by the gypsy fashion sense'. Think Russian mobsters' WAG knights.

You'll all see soon, and yell 'WTF?'
