They were already undercoated in very light grey to start with but yes about 20 minutes. Mixing as you go you have to do it quickly or the paint dries and unless you're lucky enough to end on a non-mixed colour you're stuffed.  I am quite impatient really so the hair drier speeds the process.

Individually I've taken 2 hours head and on the wings if that makes you feel better!?
