Hey,

Has anyone had any joy with Games Workshop's snow effect. I added to it an already based model. It looked great at first but now the PVA is dry has gone rather grey :(

Use white paint to stick it onto the base. Simple really - blobs of white paint where you want the snow, dip the base into the snow flock and blow on it to remove any unstuck bits.

Using PVA, it will clear and patch when it dries.

Don't try to use another colour for sticking it on either, as the flock will absorb that colour when drying.

Eric's tip is true, that and do mulitple layers, makes it look more natural..

Thanks for that, hoping can add some snow over the stuff I've already added - without the need to rebase. Fingers crossed

Ahhhh, snow with lava running through it, that would be the ultimate base!
