Very funny piece from Charlie Brooker in the Guardian, on the topic of Xmas TV adverts

Love the bit about B&Q.....
I am more impressed by the number of adverts telling me that gold is worth money!
I had absolutely no idea, I am so annoyed that I have thrown all my gold away thinking it was worthless.
Just me and Gordon Brown who are that stupid then eh?
Actually Blair was in power when then sold the reserves at 350 dollars an ounce (no worth +700).
Helps that I use to work in Bullion....
But Brown was chancellor at the time and ultimately responsible, considering the dual monarchy nonsense leadership structure that Brown and Blair had!
