Thanks for that Annie, me deciding not to open the picture you tweeted at me because it was described as "just like my banner", wasn't an invitation to post it on my blog. I shall now have to have Procrastination by Numbers torched, and start the thread again.

As an aside Annie has anyone ever told you, you're a bit too lady-like? Just wondered if that had ever cropped up?

Wow, talk about missing the whole awards show - hadn't even noticed it had been and gone (hence my silence).

So, in summary - very amusing and fun awards, the responses to which have probably catapaulted some of the thread entries straight into the 2012 nominations already. Chuffed to win the painting blog thingummy, cheers to anyone who gave me a vote. Well done to all the winners and entrants, some wicked stuff in there; and I noticed my vote for worst GW model wasn't shown (Dark Eldar Beastmaster) but I'm assuming that others thought it was so g@sh that it didn't warrant a mention anyway... so, a win of sorts then 

Well done Matt, awesome stuff, and I'm now saving up the money for a proper outfit for next year's awards.

i dunno, didn't turn up for the awards and didn't even send in a pre-recorded message from his LA home saying he "can't be there 'cause of some charity/movie/current project/Charlie Sheen impression/house arrest"!

There were a few votes in both this category and best model 2011 category that didn't count, it's a while ago but from memory the usual reason was that on looking back in the White Dwarfs (when I was searching for nomination photos) I found the nominee wasn't actaully released in 2011. I believe the Dark Eldar Beastmaster was October/November 2010 which is why I disqualified it, but I'd have to check back in my log to be sure!!

unless i have been off my head on illegals and booze...

which might have happened once or twice

As for modern clubs, I would rather tear off my own gonads rather than be subjected to R&B which is all they seem to play in London clubs....

I love the random nature of this blog, anyone not paying attention would wonder why Ol is ranting about R&B, urine, and ripping off his genitals in response to Seb thanking us for his award (which was in return a response to Annie's interesting photography!!)

It's a bit like one giant therapy session for all of us.

I have never knowingly 'moshed' (is that a word? If not, I'm coining it). Doesn't appeal to me whatsoever!

Also, Ollie, I agree on the R&B epidemic in London bars and clubs - even if I could dance, I don't understand how/why I would dance to it.
