Sheffield Slaughter 2013 - 26/27th January

The missus has just told me that she's got me something for Christmas that rules out the 26th Jan... Meaning ill have to miss Slaughter again.

Balls... I'm literally having the worst luck with tournaments this year.

Chaos Dwarf triple Iron Daemons, erm what?

Who knows the stats for these things?

Iron Daemons are basiclly a very good tar pit similar to steam tanks.

Toughness 7, unbreakbale with 7 or so wounds, can be more I think. 3+ Armour save also. But in combat it only has 3 str 3 attacks. Plus Thunderstomp though. So getting a unit of fast cavalry who can't be stomped into the Iron Daemon will normally hold it up for rest of the game.

happy i've managed to get a few games in vs Dark Elves last week.. even though this isn't a great matchup for me at least i know what i need to do....

Without knowing the personalities involved most of the draw doesn't look too bad - Ol may struggle against filthed up skaven though.

Agreed, black guard sure dont like Dreaded 13th, and I have no flaming to kill his Hellpit, however, loads of shooting can take care of chaff, pit can take care of plague monks, and double hydra will just run at him 

It's Rob Downey who had been on the scene for years, is lovely and I have never played him before, so it will be fun no matter what
