40k Mini Comp

Would anyone be interested in having something like this?
Even if its not on the same day, maybe with some sort of campaign structure.
I know Jan proposed something like this a little while back but dont know if anything came from it.

The only guys that I know play 40k in the club are Seb, Jan and Alex

I'm still very much up for a "40k day/event". Would be good if we could get a decent sized group for a harmless intro/flavourful event.

Fantasy End Times is still keeping peeps pretty busy, as is expanded X-Wing etc, but a one-off would be cool.

I play sometimes...just my attendance rate is shocking and with London Calling on the horizon, any free time is desperately devoted to Fantasy!

Saturdays are generally better than Thursdays for me so the idea of a 40K one dayer appeals.  I may even have painted my Blood Angels (or had my tiny world destroyed when the new book removes all flavour...)!

I would need to learn the new rules as I've only played one small game this edition but I would be interested

Seems like there is a bit of interest in this and Im sure Alex and Jan will be keen too.
A 40k day seems like the way tp do it.
Taking on board the comments about London Calling....maybe we leave this until that is done.
Its early November isnt it?
Maybe we can do it juat after or even early December.

I could be convinced to return to the fold for a one-day thing. It would probably have to be something reasonably small-scale or escalation based for me though as it would be jumping into a different-yet-similar edition for a bit of fun for a day.
