Ouch, ok I retract my earlier comments about price rises for resin only affecting a very small number of models. £25 for an army book!!! What do they think they're selling Encycolpedia Britannica?!

I don't mind the £25 for the new hardbacks, it's roughly inline with the privateer stuff and they are great quality... £20 for the old crappy softbacks that fall apart after 5mins is a kick in the stones.
In the style of Tom Hale... F*ck Ushabti!!!

Agreed, was just thinking about whether or not the WoC and HE books are going to be reprinted now they are at a very serious price of £20...

cunningmatt

I see your point, they are very good quality, but they only just came out at £22.50. I think it's just they keep going up, I'm sure last year the old one were only £15! Maybe I'm getting old, and I'm certainly getting grumpy.

Nope it's true, the most amazing one is the Dark Angels book going up in price despite it being god knows how old...

cunningmatt

Yeah the old ones are definitely not worth £20, particular as I find the print from each page is often smudged on the opposite page - any one else notice this? Thankfully the new ones are much better so I will allow them to be £25, but if in a few months time they creep up to £27.50 there will be trouble. :spamlaser:

Ol, is it right that the bell/furnace kit, doomwheel and the WLC/plague catty kits aren't increasing but the abom is???  Who the hell sets their pricing model!

Madness!

Most of the things I'll be picking up aren't on that list so no rush for me, this might finally make me clear my backlog (and move most of my future purchasing to malifaux)!

What you have not seen is all the rest of the models, the RRP is not going up but our trade price is...

MarkB

!@%$#%@ hell, £20 for a old codex/armybook, I thought it was a joke before, how badly is the increase in trade cost going to effect your prices ol? I had heard GW is trying to retailers to sell at RRP.

fatolaf

same margin as before, just have to put our prices up to match...

MarkB

Ahh I had heard that GW was trying to force people to sell at RRP by lowering the discount the offered.
