Amazing stuff and great photography - you didn't do it all this weekend did you? <GULP>

Loving the dirt on the tank tracks, looks like dried up Weetabix, but I'm guessing it's something more suitable than that!

Procrastination by Numbers - Update 146:

I'm painting classic Dwarfs!! PbN Update 146

Having seen some of it in the flesh, I can say it's even better than the piccies..

Awesome work Seb, keep it up sir...

Cheers fellas, appreciate the feedback. Certainly didn't do this lot on the weekend - my painting style would go down very well in Norway... positively glacial for pace  :wink;m::

All of this is completed stuff, and pictures taken before I moved back from the US. The "mud" on the tanks (which for effect doesn't always go down well with some), is just fine sand glued on and painted Bestial Brown, with a Vomit Brown and Bleached Bone highlight. Pretty simple stuff but only because I haven't really dabbled with weathering much.

As for the display board, I have one of those brains that just doesn't know when to stop when it comes to ideas. It also doesn't help that GW decides to bring out a new range of awesome and customisable terrain... idiots
"Sanguinius. It should have been him. He has the vision and strength to take us to victory, and wisdom to rule once victory is won. For all his aloof coolness, he alone has the Emperor's soul in his blood. Each of us carries part of our father - Sanguinius holds it all." Horus

good looking army, really like the power/force weapons!

the chapter fortress looks like a suitably bonkers project  :))

At night he prances about like some sort of bearded West Country metalhead pixie, planting pink horrors in peoples' army cases and cackling while chanting his mantra, 'it's double sixes my love, take them off, just take them all off'

It most certainly is...  :wink;m::

I love the apothocaries and the deatail you have managed to get out of the faces is brilliant

Thanks. I'm pretty happy with the faces and have a pretty good recipe that seems to work well, at least for tabletop. The Priests came out very crisp in the end, but I'm bu66ered if I'll ever do a White Scars army... all that white  :endit:

Something a little bit different...

Here's my entry for the 40k Painting Comp - a Death Korp of Krieg Vox Caster for the Command Squad. He's basically a test run for an army paint scheme. He came out really well and was really fun to paint, if a little fiddly, but I think I'll tone down the colours a bit and stick with greys and blacks with some accent colours. Anyhoo, best I could do pics-wise with an iPhone.

Hoping to have another entry done if I can finish it off in time.

Nice... loving the vox caster.

Saw your army in the flesh down at clapham and must say it is a very impressive Blood Angels force.

I have a whitescar army languishing at home in Ireland.. but very bad paint job it must be said. (As we speak my little brother is painting them up as Ultramarines instead!!).

White is very difficult to get right, maybe someday i will get there.
