As well as my usual heavy dose of planet Rock radio, I've also been listening to the Eagles of Death Metal a lot recently.  Great band, can only be described as 'sleaze rock'! Really good live too.

I Want You So Hard (Boys Bad News) dave grohl + jack black in the video too
Cherry Cola
I Gotta Feeling (Just Nineteen)

That's right, I listen to some current music!

I Want You So Hard (Boys Bad News) .... love that song!... awesome video
In the summer of 2011 he moved North... spreading the word of House OG.

I am Mike of House OG.  Ogger in the North.  And Ginger is coming.

I think I have one of their albums somewhere in a pile of "listened to once, chucked to one side" stuff.

I saw an interview with Blackmore a few years ago. Classic hilarity as he was sitting by a river plunking away and generally making little sense.

Found these a while back - some good egg has been through the Electric Wizard catalogue and synched up a load of appropriate films. Being classic horror movies, there are a few moments in some of them, so look away at the naughty bits if squeamish. Bowel loosening heaviness ahoy!

Have you heard of Circulus?  Could be just your thing if you're partial to music of the hey-nonny-nonny genus..

For no good reason I had a 'soft rock' week this week.  Pouring the sugar on me has been:

Toto- Hold the line, Africa
The Knack- My Sharona
Kenny Loggins- Danger Zone (from  Top Gun)
Powerstation (?I think?) - Some like it hot

I'll have that with extra cheese please waiter.

Less embarrasingly but still fairly orthodox- Elbow- Grounds for Divorce.

Spotify has stopped me listening to the radio completely now.

Nothing wrong with Roxette Mike. I used to be a big fan when I was 12.

Dead Can Dance,
Korpiklaani - Finnish folk metal - totally cheesy but fun
Gogol Bordello - New York Ukrainian gypsy punk
Nigel Kennedy with Kroke Band - UK violin + Polish folk with Jewish inclinations

on air here, for a good mix.
