The name is subject to change, as I can't think of anything better right now...

So, following the format of the popular IMPfest tournies of the last two years, and hopefully this year bigger and better. Sunday the 1st of April will see the newly remaned Titans Wargames Club in North London running a 2400pt SCGT comp pack three round one day tournie on Sunday the 1st of April 2012.

The event will be limited to 30 places, although if demand is very high there may be a possibility to expand a little further. There is a small WotR event taking place alongside this, so if you are interested in that then get in touch and I'll point you in the right direction for registration.

Tickets are £12 each as a gift through paypal to warhammerevents@thetitans.org.uk, or £10 in person for members of The Titans Wargames Club, and will be held at Gordon Hall, Huntley Drive, West Finchley, London, N3 1NX, Map HERE

The schedule for the day will be:

09:30 doors open for registration and setting up tables
10:00 Game 1
12:30 Lunch
13:30 Game 2
16:00 Break
16:15 Game 3
18:45 dice down, tidy up and collate results
19:05 awards, go home or go to the pub. Probably stopping by the kebab place just round the corner first for a wrap...

The army composition pack can be found here, and the relevant 20-0 scoring table can be found in the SCGT rules pack here

Painting

100-25% (of models) unpainted to three colours basic and textured bases: 0pts

75% painted to three colours basic and textured bases: 1pt

100% painted to three colours basic and textured bases: 2pts

Uniform paint scheme and basing throughout the army to at least three colour basic and textured bases: 4pts

As above, but with shading and highlighting throughout, all details painted, visible eyes painted, etc...: 6pts

Nominated for best painted army, assuming the above requirements are met: 7pts. Otherwise if all above criteria are not met then just +1pt over the points for the relevant category.

Sportsmanship

Nominate one competitor that you have played throughout the day for your best game. All those with two or more such nominations will recieve three tournament points. The player with the most MVP's will receive the 'Best Sports' award, in the case of a tie it will go to the player with the otherwise lowest score.

Scoring

Games will be scored using the 20-0 system, the points breakdown for which is in the linked SCGT rules pack.

With three games there are 60 tournament points available from games, a maximum of 7 from painting and 3 from sportsmanship for a maximum total of 70 tournament points.

Army lists should be sent to stomm@stomm.com by 10am on Thursday the 29th of March. Its a very late submission date as I'm not going to have the chance to look at them prior to then, so please send them in an easy to read form either in the body of the email or as a PDF. Army builder generated PDF's will be fine, try to tinker with the output if you can to make it easier for me to read though, and if you can tell me how to do so please do ;)

If you have any questions or notice any glaring errors in my attempts to copy and paste schedules, etc... Then please feel free to ask.

Tom Loyn

Is 'Tom Lyon' me? Or is there indeed someone else called Tom Lyon?

I have no idea, someone asked to be put down for it in this thread on TWF: http://warhammer.org.uk/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=97243

I subsequently decided to start a new thread rather than update the original, but included those that said something along the lines of 'put me down for this' in the original thread...

Tom Loyn

Yeah Morfius is me, but tis 'Tom Loyn' not 'Tom Lyon' ;)

Stomm

Ah, point completely missed. In my defence I should have been in bed...
