Looks like I should be around for some gameage. I actually fancy a game of Fantasy or 40k (I seem to have accidentally made an army for it , so wouldn't mind giving the new rules a try), though also up for board games.

It can be a one off, but it's much more satisfying to keep your characters and progress them!

It was ably demonstrated to us why you need a Wizard. :)

The first attempt was a bit of a struggle without reliable healing, so in the end we fought our way out, with Mike's Chaos Warrior falling so he could take over with the Wizard. Though that made things easier, it was offset by Mike having to roll for power and his love of rolling 1s (even on OG Dice!).

So, many MANY bodies later we ended up running away from a Guard Troll. But all in one piece and a decent bit richer for our efforts.

I thoroughly enjoyed playing though - I forgot how characterful and enjoyable the old Warhammer world used to be.

Aye it were reet good as they say up north. The wizard levitating to avoid the troll was a highlight as was the endless cavalcade of spiders and monsters that kept turning up in the Well room.....

Not sure if we are able to play this saturday - who's the person to check with?

Also the Imperial Noble has gone skiing in Kislev so there's a space opening up in the party....
