Are they actually in administration, no clue to that on their website?

I have some contacts in the legal world who inform me that this is true - -p

By the way that is one seriously disturbing website, having been a retail mgr for nigh on 15 years, I can safely say that if that company is really that bloody happy, they must be putting some high levels of happy juice in the staff milkshakes.... :cool3:

They are very happy! It's surprising I can tolerate them really!

I can't believe it, get me actually caring about a product I have never had and would never touch with a bargepole (who the hell puts vegetable oil and potato starch in a freaking milkshake!!!) I am just worried that it is more than Matt can bear, I think he needs a rhyme to cheer him up-

Roses are red
Violets are blue
someone'll love you one day
although god knows who!!!

There we go, I think that is one of my best pep talks, he'll have a spring in his step now I tells ya, a spring.

How is that job of yours at the Samaritans going?! :decapitated:

Thanks for that very funny, though "day" doesn't rhyme with "red" so poor show!

I always assumed that 'roses are...' rhymes are in ABCB pattern, but you are looking for ABAB, hmm, I will have to work on that, I will do it after my shift at Childline tonight.

In fairness my experience is limited in this area!

STOP PRESS! STOP PRESS!
I know, I'm not due a weekly update but I have some very sad news to report.

Shakeaway the world's best milkshake store has gone into administration

And a number of stores have been closed down, including my local one in Angel, Islington

http://www.shakeaway.com/england/index.php?page=news&id=47

And now my nearest still opening store is in Croydon

I will be having two minutes silence as a mark of respect at 11am tomorrow which I invite you to join in.

As you can appreciate this is very sad times in The Tale of OG Gamers - High Elves and so it may take a while to get back to my usual cheery level of posts.

This makes me very sad. I had plans to go weekly into my local GW and use their paints on hobby night while nomming on shakeaways. Now they may not come to pass
I know far more about 40k than Fantasy. Clearly I'm a bad person.

nomming

It is a VERY good word, I will try and use it more often. In fairness I am not sure how Australia's Shakeaway's are affected - fingers crossed!
